A three-spoke steering wheel frames woodgrain-trimmed instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer flanked by gauges to monitor fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows nearly 1,700 miles and has rolled over; the odometer was inoperable for a period of time before the speedometer gear was replaced, and true mileage is unknown. The seller has added approximately 10k miles over the past four decades.
The A-code 289ci V8 received a four-barrel carburetor from the factory and was rated at 225 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque when new. A Holley four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke has been installed. The seller states that oil changes and a battery replacement have been performed over the past few years.
