White-finished 16″ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and were mounted with 255/85 Falken Wildpeak M/T tires in February 2023. Manually-locking hubs are fitted up front and braking is handled by drums on all four corners. March 2023 service is said to have included replacing the master cylinder as well as the front wheel cylinders and seals. A spare set of 16.5″ steel wheels is included with the truck.
The bench seat is trimmed in red vinyl with cloth inserts and is complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Sheet metal surfaces are finished in body color and appointments include air conditioning, power steering, simulated woodgrain trim, lap belts, hand-crank side windows, a Kelsey Hayes trailer brake controller, and a push-button radio. The air conditioning refrigerant was recharged in March 2023.
A two-spoke steering wheel exhibits cracking and fronts a 100-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and a lower dash-mounted Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 390ci was installed under prior ownership and is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, an auxiliary fuel tank, and a dual exhaust system. An engine-out service was carried out in April 2022 and included an oil change and the replacement of the water pump, fuel pump, belts, hoses, engine mounts, and clutch.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, a New Process NP205 dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential. Areas of underside corrosion are depicted in the photo gallery below.
