The truck left the factory finished in Burnt Orange and was fitted with replacement inner and outer fenders, doors, floors, and rocker panels before being repainted in Ford Area 51 Blue under current ownership. The removable hardtop was repaired with replacement metal before being powder coated in satin black, and the glass and door latches, handles, and strikers were also replaced at that time. The bumpers were shortened and powder coated satin black, and additional equipment includes black trim, wheel arch extensions, tinted windows, and LED headlights.
Aftermarket 15″ alloy wheels are finished in black powder coat with red pinstripes and are wrapped in 33×12.5″ Cooper Evolution M/T tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and a suspension lift and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were installed during the refurbishment.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery and accompanied by matching door panel inserts. Raptor Liner has been applied to the floors, and appointments include a roll cage, a lockable glovebox, a B&M shifter, front lap belts, and a Bluetooth Pioneer stereo linked to four speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Dakota Digital VHX combination gauge with a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer surrounded by readouts for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 38 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 was reportedly overhauled and bored 0.030″ over as part of the refurbishment. It is fitted with an Edelbrock dual-plane intake manifold, a Holley 600cfm carburetor, electronic ignition, aftermarket headers, an aftermarket cold air intake with a conical filter, and an aluminum radiator. The wiring was replaced and a 14.5-gallon fuel tank was installed under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transmission, torque converter, and transfer case were rebuilt in August 2022. Body-color Raptor Liner was applied to the underbody, and the frame was reportedly painted with POR-15.
The Standard Marti Report lists a build date of February 27, 1974, and original equipment and colors. A reproduction chassis data plate has been installed on the glovebox door, and the matching frame stamp and removed chassis plate are shown below.
