The AMG GT S features an aluminum spaceframe with aluminum bodywork and a magnesium hood. This example is finished in matte-finish Designo Magno Iridium Silver (982U) and features a black vinyl wrap on the roof along with automatic LED headlights, tinted windows, Parktronic parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and LED taillights. The AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package adds a carbon-fiber front air-dam splitter, front fender-vent fins, side mirror caps, and rear apron insert as well as a gloss black grille cross-wing surround and side window trim. Ceramic coating has been applied to the exterior. Paint chips, scrapes, and other blemishes are shown in the image gallery below.
The staggered-diameter 19″ and 20″ AMG split-five-spoke wheels are finished in black and wear 265/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires up front and 315/30 Toyo Proxes R888 R rubber out back. The car is equipped with AMG Adaptive Sport suspension and the AMG Dynamic Plus Package adds firmer damping, reprofiled steering, and increased negative front-wheel camber. Braking is handled by bronze-finish AMG-branded calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors. Curb rash is visible on the right-rear wheel.
The heated power-adjustable AMG Performance seats feature position memory and are trimmed in Saddle Brown Exclusive Nappa leather with diamond-stitched inserts. Additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, a Dinamica headliner, carbon-fiber door sills, ambient lighting, a rearview camera, a matte-finish carbon-fiber rear crossbar and center console trim, Keyless Go, a Burmester sound system, satellite radio, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The Lane Tracking Package adds blind spot and lane-keeping assistance. A scratch on the inside of one of the windows is shown in the gallery along with scuffs on the driver’s door panel and on the lower-left side of the dashboard.
The Dinamica-wrapped AMG Performance steering wheel features shift paddles and frames a central configurable digital display, a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 33k miles, approximately 2,500 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 features a carbon-fiber engine cover and was modified with DME Tuning Stage 1 engine management software. The factory-optioned AMG Dynamic Plus Package adds dynamic engine and transaxle mounts as well as a widened powerband.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in California and Arizona.
