According to the seller, the 400ci Cadillac V8 was modified by Vic Edelbrock Sr. prior to initial installation utilizing JE pistons, an Isky camshaft, an aluminum Detroit Racing Equipment intake manifold, and twin Carter carburetors. An engine overhaul was completed in 2018.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a LaSalle three-speed manual transmission and a Ford banjo rear axle.
The car was featured in the book Red Wheels and White Sidewalls: Confessions of an Allard Racer by Bill Pollack, a copy of which is included in the sale.
