The fiberglass body was removed from the frame and repainted in Gypsy Red during the refurbishment according to the seller. Body-colored steel wheels are equipped with factory spinner-style hubcaps and vintage-style whitewall tires.
The cockpit features individual bucket seats and door panels retrimmed with light beige upholstery and accented with red stitching. Darker tan carpeting covers the floors, and a Wonderbar AM radio is retained in the dashboard. The car is also equipped with a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror and a heater.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a sweeping 140-mph speedometer, and a tachometer flanked by auxiliary gauges and an analog clock are fitted within the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows just under 14k miles, with true mileage unknown.
The 265ci V8 was factory rated at 195 horsepower when new, and features include cast exhaust manifolds and chrome treatments for the louvered air-cleaner assembly and valve covers. An oil change and carburetor tuning were completed in preparation for the sale, along with adjustment of the hood and doors.
The engine pad stamping includes the GR suffix, which corresponds with the 195 horsepower 265ci V8 engine for manual-transmission applications. Additional component stamping and casting numbers are included in the gallery below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. Additional photos in the gallery illustrate the condition of the underside and mechanical components.
Records from the refurbishment are included in the sale.
