Silver-painted 16” wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-off spinners and wrapped in Dunlop Road Speed RS5 tires. Braking is through drums at all four corners, and a full-size spare is found in the trunk. The selling dealer notes that the jack and tool kit are not available.
The cabin was upholstered in red leather from the factory and features a matching dashboard top, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, and map pockets in both doors. The seats show signs of discoloration, and seam separation is visible on the driver’s seat bottom.
A four-spoke steering wheel with polished accents sits ahead of a centrally-mounted wood instrument cluster housing Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows just under 64k miles, though total mileage is unknown. The tachometer is said to be inoperable, and cracks in the lenses of the speedometer and ammeter can be seen in the gallery.
The 3.4-liter inline-six features dual SU carburetors and an aluminum radiator. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. An oil change was performed and the battery recently replaced.
Engine block stamping G2855-8S matches the number stamped on the cylinder head as well as that displayed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate shown below.
