The cabin features bucket seats that have been reupholstered in red vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Lap belts are fitted for both occupants, and amenities include a Wonderbar push-button AM radio, a fresh air heater, analog clock, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. The seller notes that the heater cable is difficult to pull.
A three-spoke steering wheel with polished accents sits ahead of instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows just over 82k miles, around 200 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 265ci V8 was installed during the refurbishment and features dual four-barrel carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
Engine suffix code “FG” indicates a 265ci V8 with 225 horsepower and two four-barrel carburetors in conjunction with a Powerglide transmission. Block stamping number E286 is shown in the gallery and indicates an engine build date of May 28, 1956.
