Exterior features include a replacement tan soft top, a matching boot cover, chrome bumpers and side trim, a driver-side mirror, and a power-operated antenna.
Steel 13” wheels wear body-color hubcaps and chrome trim rings and are mounted with 185/80 Michelin all-season tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted Alfin-style drum brakes. The wheel cylinders are said to have been replaced in January 2019.
The interior was refreshed during the refurbishment in the 1990s and features beige leather upholstery in addition to matching door panels and color-coordinated carpeting. Appointments include door pockets, a Blaupunkt radio, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a tinted sun visor for the driver, and a rear seat.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 4,500 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 1.9-liter M121 inline-four is fitted with dual Weber 40DCOE carburetors and was factory rated at 104 horsepower and 105 lb-ft of torque. Work in January 2019 reportedly included installing an electric fuel pump, replacing the battery, and adjusting the carburetors. An oil change was performed and the spark plugs and fuel lines were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
