Chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels wear Porsche-crest hubcaps and are mounted with 195/60 Road Hugger GTP A/S tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. Work in September 2022 included overhauling the rear brakes, servicing the front calipers, and replacing the right tie rod, brake hoses, and wheel bearings. Bilstein shocks are fitted at each corner.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in tan vinyl with cloth inserts, along with vinyl fold-down rear seats. Appointments include front lap belts, Coco floor mats, hand-crank windows, a fuel reserve lever, a Blaupunkt push-button AM/FM radio, and a Personal shift knob with a Porsche crest logo.
The wood-rimmed Lecarra steering wheel sits ahead of green-letter VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The replacement air-cooled 1.6L flat-four was reportedly sourced from a Porsche 912 and installed under prior ownership. Work in September 2022 by Stalltek of Wellman, Iowa included repairing a head stud, adjusting the valves, and replacing a pushrod along with the head bolt o-rings, fuel petcock, clutch cable, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that is reportedly fitted with a taller 4th gear. The transmission gear oil was changed in September 2022 and the muffler was repaired.
