1962 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK II Tri-Carb. Austin Healey upgraded its 3000 roadster in 1961 and, for 14 months only, built a more powerful “Mark II” version with a hotter cam and triple carburetors which raised the horsepower to 132. This Tri-Carb was built in November of 1961 and delivered to Los Angeles in February of 1962. It is a California “Black Plate” numbers matching car that I have kept in its original configuration by design and is in its original color combination of Colorado Red with black interior with red piping. It is fitted with the original 4-speed without overdrive, 15” “knock-off” chrome wire wheels, front disc brakes, adjustable steering column, heater and laminated windscreen. The car comes with its British Heritage Certificate, an original equipment soft top, side curtains, tonneau cover and full car cover.
