Chrome 14″ wire wheels feature three-eared knockoff spinners and are mounted with 205/75 Vitour Galaxy R1 narrow-whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes. The seller states the tires, shocks, and brake pads, pistons, and hoses were replaced during the refurbishment.
The front bucket seats and contoured rear bench are upholstered in beige vinyl. Bright trim spans the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, air conditioning, and a push-button radio. According to the seller, the carpeting, insulation, dashboard, clock, rear-view mirror, and metal interior trim were replaced under current ownership.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 90k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 390ci V8 is said to have been overhauled during current ownership and is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and Thunderbird-branded valve covers. Work during the refurbishment reportedly included replacing the air conditioning compressor, battery, and the spark plugs, coils, and wires as well as repairing the carburetor and radiator, and repainting the engine bay. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
