The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline as well as gauges for amperage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The 327ci L75 V8 was equipped from the factory with a single four-barrel carburetor for a factory rating of 300 horsepower. The seller notes that the water pump and muffler were replaced under current ownership.
