The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a transverse leaf spring in the rear. This example is equipped with 15″ steel wheels wearing full covers and Uniroyal thin-whitewall tires.
The cabin features bucket seats reupholstered in tan leather joined by color-coordinated treatments for the dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center-mounted clock, a heater and defroster, and a vertically oriented Delco AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, battery charge, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles. True mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 crate engine is equipped with a single carburetor topped by a chrome air cleaner housing. Additional features include an aluminum radiator and a dual exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec five-speed manual transmission.
