The four-place cabin is upholstered in black leather with wood trim and features “safari” rear bucket seats and a Becker Europa radio. The heater core has been bypassed. There is rust in the floorboards and trunk floor, the metal interior trim is pitted, the steering wheel is misaligned, the windshield wipers are inoperative, and the sun visors are missing.
The speedometer, tachometer, and fuel level gauge are inoperative. An AEM air/fuel ratio gauge rests on the center tunnel. The five-digit odometer is inoperative and shows 33k miles. True mileage is unknown.
Originally equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, the 2.2-liter M127 inline-six was fitted with MegaSquirt electronic fuel injection, MSD Street Fire ignition components, and a cone-style air filter in 2018. The engine is also equipped with a General Motors alternator, and service in March 2023 included changing the oil and replacing the throttle body, battery, distributor cap and rotor. The engine leaks from the oil pan and there is exhaust smoke on start-up.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Service in 2017 included replacing the front subframe mounts and the rear driveshaft carrier bearing. There is a leak from the rear differential, and photos of rust on the underbody are provided in the gallery.
