The Reutter-produced bodywork of this example was originally finished in Oslo Blue and was recently repainted from red to its current blue. A black convertible top and matching boot cover are fitted, and a replacement windshield was reportedly installed under current ownership. Equipment includes a driver-side mirror, gold Porsche 60 badging at the rear, painted bumpers with overriders, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the bumperettes.
Ventilated 15″ chrome wheels wear polished Porsche-branded hubcaps and are mounted with Vredestein tires. A matching spare wheel with a Dunlop tire and a jack are stored in the front trunk, and Koni Classic dampers are installed at all four corners. The front brakes were converted to discs under current ownership, and additional work is said to have included the installation of a replacement brake master cylinder, steering ball joints, wheel bearings, and rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders.
Originally trimmed in gray, the interior was recently replaced with red leather seating joined by a matching dash pad and door panels, tan square-weave carpets, and black rubber flooring. The body-color dashboard houses an analog VDO clock and a Blaupunkt radio, and additional equipment includes a height-adjustable rearview mirror, manual crank windows, and wind wings.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts green-letter VDO instrumentation including a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows just over 82k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The replacement 1.6-liter Type 616/1 flat-four was rated at 60 horsepower when new. Work completed under current ownership is said to include refurbishment of the Weber carburetors, installation of a replacement distributor cap and rotor, refurbishment of the fuel pump, and a fuel tank flush including installation of a replacement fuel filter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. The gearbox was reportedly refurbished and fitted with a new clutch since the seller’s purchase. A start-up video can be viewed below.
