Various chips and scratches are evident, as is pitting on the front bumper, guards, and windshield frame. The seller notes that the driver’s door does not sit flush with the body. Chrome-finished 15” wheels wear matching hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires. A full-size spare is found in the front storage area. Braking is via discs at all four corners, and the car rides on Koni red shock absorbers.
The front seats have been reupholstered in black leatherette and are joined by color-coordinated rear seats, door panels, and carpets. Appointments consist of a Bendix Sapphire II AM/FM radio, a black rubber floor mat, dual flip-down sun visors, and lap belts for front occupants.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard housing VDO instrumentation that includes an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 70k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 1.6-liter flat-four is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and was rebuilt in the late 1970s. Recommissioning following removal from long-term storage in late 2022 consisted of an oil change, installation of a replacement battery, and a carburetor adjustment.
