The pneumatic suspension system was reportedly fitted with replacement valves and pumps around that time, along with polyurethane suspension bushings and Bilstein shocks.
The cabin has been lined with Dynamat sound deadening material and houses seats trimmed in blue leather upholstery with darker blue door panels and carpets. Work performed by Star Motors of Endicott, New York in January 2020 included converting the air conditioning system to R134a, rebuilding the sunroof tracks, and replacing the headliner and wood trim. Amenities include a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM radio, a sunroof, Coco floor mats, and an analog clock. A stain is noted on the rear bench seat upholstery.
An ivory-color two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames VDO instrumentation that includes a replacement 7k-rpm tachometer, a rebuilt 140-mph speedometer, and vertically-oriented auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 79k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 6.3L V8 and four-speed automatic transmission were reportedly sourced from a 1971 300SEL and installed in the 1970s. An electronic ignition system and distributor have been added and various engine components have been cadmium-plated. The cold start valves and thermal switches were replaced in 2020, and a replacement water pump, water pump housing, and alternator were installed in 2021. The seller notes that the spark plugs were cleaned in preparation for the sale.
