The cabin features bucket seats that were re-covered in white vinyl during the refurbishment, along with matching door panels and black carpets. The radio has been modified with an auxiliary input and the clock was rebuilt with a quartz movement. The heater core was replaced in 2016.
A wood rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery charge, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 78k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L79 V8 is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 350 horsepower when new. The radiator and fan clutch were replaced in 2017, while the alternator, fast idle cam, and thermostat were replaced in 2018. An oil change was performed and the horn was repaired in preparation for the sale.
Engine stamping 5118212 is viewable above and matches the last six digits of the number shown on the chassis plate. The “HT” suffix on the right indicates a 327ci L79 V8 in conjunction with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional casting numbers are viewable in the gallery below.
