Polished 13″ alloy wheels wear Sunbeam Tiger-branded faux spinners and are mounted with 205/60 Toyo Proxes RA1 tires. The car is fitted with an adjustable front suspension, and stopping power is provided by front disc brakes with Wilwood calipers joined by drums at the rear.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Amenities include a wood veneer dashboard, a Sony CD stereo, and an Autopower roll bar with headrests. Wear is present on the back of the front seats.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a non-functioning tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and fuel level. An AutoMeter tachometer is fitted along with readouts for amperage and engine temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 95k miles, approximately 5k of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 289ci Ford V8 was installed under prior ownership and is equipped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Holley aluminum intake manifold, Ford-branded aluminum valve covers, an auxiliary electric cooling fan, and a chrome radiator overflow tank. Service in September 2022 included adjusting the pushrods.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford four-speed manual transmission. A video overview of the underside can be viewed in the gallery below.
A Sunbeam Tiger Owners Association Certificate of Authenticity was issued in 1996 and lists the body color and identification numbers. Partial service records, spare parts, a tonneau cover, service manuals, memorabilia, a car cover, manufacturer’s literature, and a set of Minilite-style wheels with tires that are said to have been mounted approximately 100 miles ago will also accompany the car.
