The 2+2 cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in blue upholstery along with matching door panels. Appointments include a Sony cassette radio, a woodgrain shift knob, lap belts for all occupants, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. Cracks are evident on the dashboard wood trim.
The banjo-style steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges monitoring water temperature and fuel level, both of which were rebuilt in November 2021. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and currently shows 59k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 2.9-liter inline-six features twin SU carburetors and was rebuilt by British Auto Repair of Carmichael, California in July 2021. The choke cable, hoses, water pump, and thermostat were replaced in November 2021. An oil change was performed and the spark plugs were replaced in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with an electronically actuated overdrive unit. The transmission was overhauled in July 2021, and a replacement exhaust system was installed in November 2021. Corrosion is evident on underside chassis components, additional images of which are presented in the gallery.
