Silver 15″ ventilated steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 165-width Michelin XZX tires that show date codes from 2021. A full-size spare is located in the front trunk, and a collection of 1965 wheel date codes can be seen in the gallery. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and a brake fluid bleed was performed in September 2021.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in beige leatherette along with matching rear seating surfaces and door panels. Salt-and-pepper carpets are fitted along with aluminum dash trim, and the Blaupunkt AM/FM radio is said to have been overhauled by Vintageblau of New York in 2022.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO green-letter gauges that are said to have been overhauled in 2017 and consist of a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 3,600 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 1.6-liter flat-four features dual carburetors and was overhauled in 2016. Service performed in September 2021 involved a throttle cable and linkage adjustment in addition to replacement of the spark plugs and wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. An electric fuel pump was installed in September 2021.
Stampings and tags on the powertrain, chassis, and body are provided above and can be seen up close in the gallery. Engine stamping 741181 and transaxle stamping 222101 match the numbers listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and Kardex.
