Aftermarket 14″ alloy wheels wear Sunbeam-branded center caps and are mounted with 195/60 Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring A/S tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. Service under current ownership included replacing the tires and the brake primary cylinder.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard pad, door panels, and carpeting. Additional amenities include a heater, black carpeted floor mats, and a wood-veneer dashboard and center console lid. The carpets, seat foams and covers, shifter, door caps, and lap belts, were replaced under current ownership. Blemishes in the top boot and left door panel are shown in the gallery.
A refinished wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Jaeger instrumentation that includes a 5,500-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A Lucas ammeter sits to the left of the tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the seller. True mileage is unknown. The seller notes the coolant-temperature gauge reads low, and pitting is visible in the gauge bezels.
The 260ci Ford V8 is equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Tiger-branded aluminum valve covers. The seller states that work performed under current ownership included an oil change in addition to installing an aluminum radiator, rebuilding the carburetor, and replacing the fuel pump, coolant tank, coolant hoses, thermostat, spark plugs, and air filter. The seller notes an oil leak at the rear main seal.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford four-speed manual transmission. The front wheel wells were refinished, and the transmission fluid was changed, under current ownership. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
A Rootes Archive Centre Trust certificate is included in the sale and lists factory colors, options, and identification numbers.
