The replacement Blueprint Engines 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was recently installed and features an aluminum engine block, forged connecting rods, hypereutectic pistons, and tubular exhaust headers. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. The selling dealer reports that a 3.73:1 gear ratio and McLeod clutch are installed. A dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers terminates in front of the rear axle.
