The C2 was the first Corvette to offer fully independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the rear. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by unassisted discs at all four corners.
The cabin features black vinyl seats along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Corvette-branded floor mats line the footwells, and features include an analog clock, a heater and defroster, wind-up windows, lap belts, a reverse lock-out shifter, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting steering column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 15 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci L79 V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and features a Holley four-barrel carburetor, finned valve covers, and a chrome air cleaner assembly and ignition system cover. The fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.
