Lug-mounted 15″ turbine wheels wear Chevrolet center caps and are wrapped in redline tires. The car is equipped with power brakes along with the F41 suspension package which added stiffer springs front and rear along with high-performance shocks. The rear passenger wheel is missing the center cap.
The bucket seating features headrests and is finished in Saddle brown vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. An analog clock is mounted in the center stack, and additional features include a glovebox, seat belts, and a Delco AM/FM radio.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a telescoping column and fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 59k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller.
The 427ci L71 V8 came equipped with three two-barrel carburetors, a transistor ignition system, and was factory rated at 435 horsepower. A replacement radiator, water pump, and battery were reportedly installed in June 2021.
A photo of the engine stamping shows the sequence 116239, which matches the last six digits of the vehicle’s chassis number. The JE suffix corresponds with a 427ci/435hp V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a positraction rear end.
