The 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 205/65 Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires. Work since 2020 is said to have consisted of installing a Prius-sourced electronic power steering system, and a replacement brake proportioning valve, master cylinder, front rotors, rear brake shoes, roller bearing idler arm, springs, roller bearing perches, brake lines, control arms, and Gabriel shock absorbers. A 17:1 ratio steering box has been fitted. Braking is handled by unassisted Kelsey-Hayes style front discs and rear drums. The cabin features Mitsubishi Starion-sourced front bucket seats upholstered in black leather. The wooden three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. A Halda Tripmaster odometer is mounted in front of the passenger. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,600 miles, all of which have been added during current ownership. The 289ci V8 was reportedly bored .030″ over during previous ownership and is said to have been rebuilt during current ownership. Work since 2020 has reportedly consisted of honing cylinder eight, performing a valve job, and installing a PerTronix electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator, a Comp Cams camshaft and valve springs, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a Holley 600-cfm carburetor. A fabricated aluminum sump guard, export brace, and Monte Carlo bar are installed.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a T5 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The rear axle is said to have been rebuilt since 2020 with work that consisted of replacing the bearings, ring, and pinion, and installing a Yukon Gear differential as well as shortening the driveshaft.
