The car was delivered new in Burnt Amber (V) and was refinished in 2013 to address faded paint. Features include Ford lettering across the hood, chrome-finished bumpers, tinted glass, quarter louvers, and dual exhaust outlets that terminate beneath the rear valance. A ceramic coating was applied in 2022, and the seller notes bubbles in the paint as well as a scuff on the rear bumper.

Chrome-finished 14″ styled steel wheels with trim rings are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The left-front center cap is missing in some photos but has been replaced. The car left the factory with power-assisted steering, and front disc brakes have been added. The suspension was refreshed in 2013. In 2021 a power-steering hose and valve were replaced along with the tires, and the chassis is said to have been lubricated.
The interior features front bucket seats and a Sport Deck folding rear bench with saddle vinyl upholstery. Rubber Mustang-embossed liners protect the front footwells, and the seller states that the air-conditioning system has been recharged and blows cool but not cold. The push-button AM radio is inoperative.
A three-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket wrap sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a combination gauge for oil pressure and the alternator, and additional gauges to monitor coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 26k miles, approximately 8k of which have been added by the seller over the past 35 years. True mileage is unknown.
The C-code 289ci V8 received a two-barrel carburetor from the factory and was rated at 200 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque when new. A dual exhaust and electronic ignition have been installed, and the fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and an 8″ rear axle. The transmission was rebuilt in 2020, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
