The Flaminia Super Sport was introduced in 1964 to replace the 2.6-liter-powered Flaminia Sport and featured revised front bodywork as well as a new Kamm-tail treatment. The aluminum bodywork on this example underwent a color change to red under previous ownership before it was reportedly repainted in its factory Grigio Newmarket in the 2010s. Features include chrome bumpers, pop-out quarter windows, a double–bubble roof, a fender-mounted TEX teardrop mirror, Zagato fender badges, a hood scoop, and an egg-crate grille. A collection of factory-style badging is included in the sale along with French number plates.
The body-color steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 175HR400 Pirelli CA67 tires. A silver-painted spare wheel with a Michelin tire is fitted in the trunk. The Super Sport shared its 99″ wheelbase with the contemporary Flaminia GT and featured a double-wishbone front suspension as well as a De Dion rear axle with leaf springs and a Panhard rod. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard rear units.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with a matching rear bulkhead, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a rear luggage pass-through, lap belts, manual crank windows, a passenger grab handle, and a locking glovebox.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation including a 220-km/h speedometer with an inset combination gauge and a 6,700-rpm tachometer with an inset clock and warning lamps. The five-digit odometer shows 51k kilometers (~31k miles). Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.8-liter 60° V6 features triple Weber carburetors and was factory rated at 152 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. An oil change was reportedly performed under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle.
