The car was originally delivered in Polo Red and features bullet-style mirrors, a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, and a zip-down rear window. Portions of the weatherstripping between the Targa bar and the rear window have separated. Areas of chipped, peeling, and bubbling paint are shown in the gallery below, and rust is present on the lower body panels and the underside.

Fuchs 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with Firestone Firehawk tires. Service in July 2022 included rebuilding the brake calipers and replacing the master cylinder and brake hoses.
The cabin is trimmed in black leatherette, and the front seats feature cloth inserts. Equipment includes bright trim, lap belts, and a Blaupunkt radio.
The wood-rim steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 100k miles, a handful of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The numbers-matching 2.0-liter flat-six was reportedly rebuilt by Peter Dawes Motorsports of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, circa 2017. An engine-out service in July 2022 included sandblasting and powder-coating the exhaust system, powder-coating the engine tin, resealing the chain boxes and valve covers, rebuilding the Weber carburetors, and replacing the fuel tank and exhaust gaskets, as well as flushing the fuel system and transaxle.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle with a dog-leg first gear. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The Certificate of Authenticity lists production information, factory colors, and serial numbers. Recent service records are also included in the sale.
