The car was previously finished in red and stripped to bare metal before being refinished in the current shade of Tangerine by the seller’s shop. Rust and panel repairs were completed before paint and bodywork, and the soft rear window was reportedly refurbished at that time. Features include a brushed stainless-steel Targa bar, a removable roof panel, a zip-down rear window, a driver-side mirror, and polished trim with black moldings.

Rust and panel repairs were completed before paint and bodywork, and the soft rear window was reportedly refurbished at that time. Fuchs 15″ alloy wheels wear 195/65 Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S tires. Braking is handled by discs at all four corners, and the suspension was updated with Bilstein dampers.
The cabin features aftermarket bucket seats upholstered in black leather with houndstooth cloth inserts accompanied by a black dashboard, door panels, and rear seats. Additional equipment consists of brushed metal trim, a locking glove compartment, and an aftermarket Custom Autosound stereo. The seller states that Dynamat sound-damping was installed beneath the carpets.
The aftermarket MOMO steering wheel frames a central 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added since the refurbishment was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four is fitted with dual Solex carburetors and was factory rated at 90 horsepower and 91 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt and machine work was completed in 2010 by Competition Engineering in Lake Isabella, California.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing were replaced at the time of the engine rebuild.
