New reproduction rocker moldings, side window glass, and weatherstripping were fitted under current ownership.
Cosmic alloy wheels wear 14″ Falken Azenis tires with 2005 date codes. The removable black hardtop is shown installed above, and the replacement Everflex soft top is pictured both raised and stowed beneath a black boot in gallery photographs below. A Girling 7″ brake booster was added under current ownership, and the front pads and rotors, rear drum shoes, and lines were replaced. A walk-around video has been provided by the seller.
Low-backed bucket seats were fitted with new cushions and textured black upholstery from Sunbeam Specialties, who also provided a padded console lid, a matching carpet kit, new door sill plates, and other replacement interior items as listed on invoices in the gallery.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames instruments in a new burl wood dash panel including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a five-digit odometer showing just over 7k miles. Actual mileage is unknown. The seller has had a new wiring harness fitted, and a Hurst floor shifter replaces the stock item.
The 289ci Ford V8 was rebuilt and fitted with hardened valve seats in 2002 by Answer Engine Works of London, Ontario. The engine breathes through a Holley 465 four-barrel carburetor on an Edelbrock F4B intake manifold and a new stainless steel dual exhaust system from Sunbeam Specialties. Shelby-style Tiger valve covers were also installed under current ownership along with a PerTronix distributor.
Shifting is through a Ford Toploader four-speed manual transmission, which is paired with a Dana 44 rear axle. New Koni shocks and other suspension components were installed in 2020. The exhaust cutouts were also revised and the underbody treated with a textured coating.
The STOA Certificate of Authenticity records inspection by members of the organization in 2014. Correspondence between the previous owner and Tiger historian Norman Miller notes that the transmission and rear-end serial numbers are consistent with those listed in Jensen Motors production ledgers for chassis number B382100367, and describes the engine block casting date as consistent with the car’s build date. A removed valve cover tag, the chassis data plate and body tag, and driveline stampings are pictured in the gallery.
Invoices covering 1996-present are included in the sale, as are a collection of periodicals and Tiger literature, photos from the 1990s refurbishment, a tool roll, and several spare components. Videos below show a walk-around and driving footage.
