The car is said to have been refinished in black approximately 12 years ago under prior ownership. The rear badge and fender marker lights were removed, and “SS 400” badges were added. Additional exterior features include chrome trim, tailgate-mounted reverse lamps, and a forward-hinged tonneau cover with hydraulic support struts. The seller notes a loose driver-side mirror, and imperfections in the paint are pictured in the gallery below.

Chrome-finished Coys wheels measure 18″ up front and 20″ out back and wear 235/40 front and 275/40 rear Delinte tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The decal on the right-front tire center cap is missing.
The cab was refreshed under prior ownership and features later-model power-adjustable buckets seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional appointments include a B&M shifter, a Pioneer CD stereo, and a center console with a storage compartment and cupholders.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel features an SS horn button and fronts a 120-mph speedometer. A column-mounted Sunpro tachometer is installed along with a fuel-level gauge, and gauges for oil pressure and temperature are mounted above the heater controls. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. The current California title displays an “exceeds mechanical limits” odometer notation, and total mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt and overbored to displace 406ci, and features include an aluminum intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum radiator, coated long-tube headers, and a dual exhaust system. Service performed in preparation for the sale included replacing the battery terminals and changing the fluids.
