The car left the factory finished in Acapulco Blue, and refurbishment work is said to include repairing rust on the right-side quarter panel and replacing the left door before repainting the exterior. Features include a shaker hood scoop, chrome bumpers, matte black hood graphics, quad headlights, hood pins, and quarter panel scoops. The seller notes a dent under the front valance, and exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
Body-color 14″ steel wheels are mounted with F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas white-letter tires. The car is equipped with a manual steering box, competition suspension, and unassisted drum brakes at all four corners. Ford dog dish-style hubcaps will accompany the car.
The cabin houses front bucket seats that are said to have been re-trimmed as part of the refurbishment and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and a replacement dash pad. Equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter, manual crank windows, bright door sills, and lap belts. The car was optioned without a radio. An imperfection on the glovebox door and an abrasion on the driver-seat upholstery are shown in the gallery. The removed dash pad and replacement rear upholstery are included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 6k miles, a handful of which have been added under current ownership.
The replacement 428ci Cobra Jet V8 is equipped with a shaker hood scoop atop a four-barrel carburetor. The seller notes that the smog equipment is removed and that service in preparation for the sale included adjusting the engine timing and carburetor as well as performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a C6 three-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok rear end with 4.30:1 gearing. The transmission is equipped with an R-code servo. Work performed in preparation for the sale is said to include replacing the transmission pan gasket and rear axle seals.
A copy of the dealer invoice is included in the sale along with a Deluxe Marti report that lists a build date of May 7, 1969, and displays production statistics, factory colors, and equipment. Photos taken during the refurbishment will also accompany the car.
