Magnum 500–style wheels are fitted with redline radial tires and are accompanied by a matching spare located in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted drums at all four corners, and the car is equipped with power steering.
The interior is trimmed in black vinyl upholstery (930) with a matching dash fascia and woodgrain trim. Amenities include power locks, a power-adjustable driver seat, air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and a sports console housing the automatic shifter.
A Rally-style steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge. Approximately 79k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, about 1k of which have been added by the seller; actual mileage is unknown. A stock steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 400ci V8 was the standard engine offering for the second-generation 442, and this example is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and an optional G80 Anti-Spin rear end. The engine stamping shown within the gallery includes the digits 149478, which match the vehicle’s serial number. The car retains a stock air cleaner and hardware. An oil change and transmission service were conducted in December 2020, according to the seller.
A video tour of the underside is presented above.
Items accompanying the vehicle include a window sticker, a car invoice, and a build sheet as well as the Protect-O-Plate and a copy of the original Pennsylvania title that was issued in 1969.
Additional images in the gallery document the refurbishment process, which involved replacing portions of the body panels, refinishing the frame, and reinstalling the powertrain and the interior.
