The seller states that that bodywork has included the replacement of the rear quarter panels and parts of the floor and trunk. Equipment includes a power-operated white convertible top, a body-colored Endura front bumper, a chrome rear bumper, faux hood scoops, and bright wheel arch and rocker molding trim. Work in the past year is said to have consisted of refurbishing the wiper motor and replacing the convertible top hydraulic rams and hydraulic lines. There is a crack, chips, and scratches in the paint, the rear decklid molding is dented, and the convertible top material is stained.
The 14″ Rally II wheels wear chrome trim rings and PMD center caps and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Work in the past year reportedly consisted of replacing the two-piece brake rotors, rear wheel cylinders, and rubber brake hoses.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in parchment vinyl joined by color-coordinated door panels. Equipment includes a center console, faux woodgrain trim, a heater/defroster, a rear speaker, retractable front lap belts, Pontiac-branded rubber floor mats, and a push-button radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 70k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 400ci V8 was rebuilt and overbored to 461ci in 2005 by Butler Performance. It was fitted with a COMP Cams Xtreme Energy camshaft, a billet timing set, reverse dome pistons, and an Eagle crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods, and the intake manifold and cylinder heads were ported. The four-barrel carburetor is said to have been stripped and re-plated and subsequently rebuilt since 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential and 3.55:1 gears. The transmission and differential were reportedly rebuilt and a Gardner reproduction exhaust is said to have been installed under current ownership.
