The decklid was also replaced along with trim items and weather seals, the window trim was polished, and H4 headlights were installed. The seller states that the right door was damaged after it was backed into by another car while parked at a shop, and a replacement door was installed and refinished to match by Euro Pros Collision Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in 2021. Fuchs 15″ wheels wear Doral SDA 60A tires, and a spare is stored in the trunk. The suspension was overhauled with powder-coated components and replated hardware during the refurbishment.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black leather with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The seat upholstery, carpets, white headliner, door panels, sun visors, and door strikers were replaced under previous ownership. Porsche-branded floor mats have been added as well as three-point seatbelts on the front seats. The seller notes that the aftermarket stereo is inoperative.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer flanked by a 150-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, a handful of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The car is powered by a replacement 2.0-liter M901 flat-six that was initially built for a 1969 US-market 911T and was overhauled under previous ownership. Weber carburetors and hydraulic chain tensioners have been installed. The Type 901/12 five-speed manual transaxle was reportedly rebuilt and fitted with a replacement clutch disc, pressure plate, and throwout bearing in 2016, and the fifth-gear teeth and synchromesh were replaced. Corrosion is visible on exhaust components.
