The body was modified with a 1969-style grille, tail light panel, fenders, and fender extensions before the body was repainted in its current shade of white in 2016. The hood tachometer does not work.
American Racing 15″ five-spoke wheels wear 235/60 BFGoodrich tires. Braking is handled by unassisted front disc brakes and rear drums actuated by a Wilwood master cylinder. Sway bars are installed up front and out back, and the battery along with a fire extinguisher is mounted in the trunk.
The cabin features high-back bucket seats and a fold-down rear bench that were reupholstered in black comfort-weave vinyl in 2016. Carbon-fiber trim lines the door panels and dashboard, and additional features include a Hurst T-handle shifter, rubber floor mats, manually-operated windows, and a push-button AM/FM/8-track radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in tan leather and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges indicating coolant temperature and fuel level. An 8k-rpm Sun Super Tach is mounted on the steering column, and additional Stewart Warner auxiliary gauges beneath the dash display coolant temperature and oil pressure. The speedometer and factory tachometer do not work. The five-digit odometer shows 30k miles, and approximately 100 miles have been added since the refurbishment was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 302ci V8 features a tunnel-port intake manifold and cylinder heads along with two four-barrel carburetors. An aftermarket Comp Cams camshaft is installed, and additional equipment includes an MSD ignition system, an electric fuel pump, strut-tower supports, and an aluminum radiator fitted with dual electric fans. The oil was changed in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a close-ratio Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear axle housing a 3.50:1 Positraction differential and 31-spline axles.
