Steel 14″ wheels with aluminum covers wear Cooper Lifeliner Classic D tires. A replacement brake master cylinder was installed in July 2011, and the brake fluid was flushed when the front calipers, discs, brake pads, and hoses were replaced in June 2019. The power steering system was bled and topped up in April 2021.
The seating surfaces have been reupholstered in black leather and are accompanied by matching dash pads and door panels. Black woven Coco floor mats are shown over factory dark gray carpeting while wood trim accents the dash top and center console. Amenities include a heater, a Becker Europa TR stereo, a locking glovebox, and a dash-mounted analog clock. During current ownership, a replacement shifter bezel and shifter bushing were installed, and silver paint touch-up has been completed on the upper right portion of the instrument cluster. A crack is shown at the top of the steering wheel, and the seller notes that the clock works intermittently.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a metal horn ring with black center and fronts a silver-finished dashboard housing VDO instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles.
The mechanically fuel-injected 2.8-liter inline-six was rated at 180 horsepower and 193 lb-ft of torque when new, and sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. In 2017, the cylinder head was refurbished with replacement valve seals and fuel injectors. During the repairs, a replacement timing chain tensioner, idler gear, thermostat, and cooling hoses were installed. The transmission was serviced and the shifter bushing was replaced in April 2021, and the battery was replaced in October 2021.
