Finished from the factory in Lemon Twist (FY1), the car was repainted in metallic blue during prior ownership. Features include an AAR-style black fiberglass hood, front and rear spoilers, black side graphics, a body-color front bumper, dual-side mirrors, a chrome rear bumper, rear window louvers, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The windshield wipers are non-functional, and the hood does not stay in the opened position without assistance. A crack is present on the underside of the hood and depicted in the gallery below. An uninstalled replacement hood will accompany the car.
Aftermarket 18″ front and 20″ rear chrome wheels are mounted with 225/45 and 275/40 General Grabber UHP tires, respectively. The ride height has been lowered, and braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs with slotted and cross-drilled rotors. Uneven tire wear is noted.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black upholstery with a matching-color dashboard, door panels, and replacement carpets. Simulated woodgrain accents the dash and center console, and amenities include a Slap-Stik shifter, power steering, three-point front seat belts, an Antique Automobile Radio head unit, and Pioneer and Alpine speakers. The car is equipped with Vintage Air HVAC components, though the system has been disconnected. The seller notes that the horn has also been disconnected.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. Additional AutoMeter auxiliary gauges are mounted inside the center armrest, and the seller notes that the speedometer is disconnected. The five-digit odometer indicates 46k miles, and true mileage is unknown. A replacement speedometer cable is included.
The replacement 340ci V8 features a Six Pack-style induction system with three two-barrel carburetors. The seller states that the engine was overhauled in 2018 by Bullhead Auto Machine in Arizona, and modifications are said to consist of the following components:
The seller notes an oil leak, as well as a leak from the fuel tank.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Torque-Flite 727 three-speed automatic transmission that is said to have been overhauled in 2018. Additional underside images are include in the gallery below.
