Orange-finished 15″ steel wheels wear Plymouth-branded covers and are mounted with 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. Braking is handled by unassisted drums at all four corners.
The front and rear bench seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery with silver accents joined by color-coordinated door panels. Equipment includes a heater and defroster, Hurst pistol-grip shifter, front headrests, lap belts, vent windows, and a push-button AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel has an aluminum horn ring and frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges monitoring amperage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The car is fitted with a Road Runner “Beep Beep” horn. The five-digit odometer shows 18 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 440ci V8 was rebuilt in 2004 and features TRW forged pistons, bronze valve guides with hardened seats, a roller timing chain, and “Six Pack” carburetion with triple dual-barrels along with a dual-point distributor, and an electronic voltage regulator. The heavy-duty radiator was re-cored under current ownership and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
An engine stamp is shown above and additional part stamps are shown in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a heavy-duty four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle. A factory-style dual exhaust system has been installed.
