Rally-style 15″ wheels are fitted with GR70-15 Firestone Wide Oval Super Sport tires. The aforementioned refurbishment consisted of rebuilding the steering box and replacement of the front suspension, rear trailing arms, leaf springs, and parking brake assembly. Factory equipment includes power-assisted steering and disc brakes.
The cockpit features a replacement interior including bucket seats upholstered in black leather joined by a color-matching dashboard, carpets, and deluxe door panels. Equipment consists of a tilt steering column, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows and locks, Stingray-branded floor mats, and a Delco AM/FM radio with USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. An ammeter and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in the center stack along with a clock. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 84k miles, a handful of which have been added under current ownership.
The 350ci V8 was rebuilt under prior ownership and features a Rochester four-barrel Quadrajet carburetor, an electric pusher fan, ceramic-coated factory exhaust manifolds, and chrome air cleaner housing and valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission that was refurbished prior to the current owner’s acquisition. A limited-slip differential with 3.36:1 gearing is also equipped. The dual exhaust system has been replaced.
