The 15″ steel rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and are shod with 33″ x 12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The brake master cylinder and lines have been replaced, and the leaf-sprung suspension features Bilstein shocks. The truck is equipped with hydraulic power steering.
The cabin features bucket front and rear bench seats that have been reupholstered in houndstooth green cloth with vinyl sides and backs. Black carpets line the floors and extend to the cargo area. Amenities include a Kenwood CD head unit with Bluetooth, a VintageAir air conditioning system, and a center console.
An olive green steering wheel fronts a green-painted metal dash with a replacement pad. Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and a five-digit mechanical odometer that reads approximately 26k miles, around 100 of which were added by the seller following the overhaul. Total mileage is unknown. A digital display for the Holley Sniper fuel injection system is mounted below the dash.
A replacement 383ci V8 crate engine was installed under current ownership and features a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, aluminum valve covers, an alternator, a Boyd aluminum fuel tank with replacement pump and lines, a Painless wiring harness, and an HEI distributor. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator and twin electric fans. A break-in oil change has been performed and adjustments were made by Retro Rides in Bend, Oregon, in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case, both of which were rebuilt during the refurbishment. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery, along with receipts from Woodys, Wagens, and Classic Cruisers. Two videos are provided below, and additional videos can be seen on the seller’s YouTube channel here.
