Description
The car was refinished in its original Gold Metallic (88) and features a single left-side mirror, front fog lights, chrome rocker panel trim, and black rubber moldings and bumper inserts. Rust repairs were reportedly performed during the refurbishment by Fab-X Performance Fabrication of West Palm Beach, Florida and the rear quarter panels, rocker panels, and floor pans were replaced. Refurbished 14″ Fuchs wheels wear…

Refurbished 14″ Fuchs wheels wear Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The 911E was equipped from the factory with self-leveling hydropneumatic front struts, and this example is fitted with Bilstein shocks out back. Braking is provided by discs at each corner.
The overhauled cabin features factory-optioned front sport seats that were re-trimmed in black leatherette with perforated inserts. Additional appointments include salt-and-pepper carpets and floor mats, hand-crank windows, factory-optioned air conditioning, and a push-button radio. A fire extinguisher presently located in the passenger footwell, although according to the the seller it is not fixed in place.
The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. Just under 78k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, 600 of which were reportedly driven since the restoration. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.2-liter 911/01 flat-six was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment, and the mechanical fuel-injection system was overhauled. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Fluid services were performed in January 2021.
Engine stamping *6210063* is shown above and matches the engine number listed on the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and transaxle number 7110925 is shown in the gallery below and also matches the certificate.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors and equipment along with a production date of September 1970.
