Stopping power is provided by front disc brakes that were reportedly sourced from a Volvo, and the seller states that the rear drum brakes were also overhauled. The suspension has been modified with Ireland Engineering urethane bushings, an adjustable front sway bar, adjustable rear trailing arms, shock tower braces, Koni shocks, and Eibach springs mounted on height-adjustable coilover perches as well as camber plates sourced from Ground Control.
The cabin features manually adjustable Recaro front seats along with a rear bench trimmed in black upholstery. Equipment includes a rear defroster and carpeted floor mats, and gauges for air/fuel ratio and fuel mileage have been installed at the bottom of the center console. The radio has been removed, though it is included in the sale.
The three-spoke Alpina-branded steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.0-liter inline-four is said to be modified with European-specification high-compression pistons and a Schrick camshaft, and it is equipped with dual Weber side-draft carburetors, an aluminum radiator, and an electronic ignition system. The tubular header is wrapped and linked to an aftermarket exhaust system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed transmission, and the rear end has been modified with a 3.91 gear ratio.
