The interior is upholstered in black vinyl (400) with a color-keyed dashboard, console, and carpeting. Amenities include a tilting and telescoping steering column, a push-button AM/FM radio, and retractable shoulder belts.
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer ahead of the driver, as well as gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows just under 12k miles, approximately 1,800 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 454ci LS5 V8 was rated at 270 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque when new and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end equipped with a 3.36:1 ratio. An oil and filter change was conducted in April 2020, per the seller.
Stamping S515425 shown above matches the ending sequence of the vehicle’s chassis number. The CSR suffix on the same pad stamping corresponds with the 454ci engine for manual-transmission applications.
