Previously finished in Polaris, the car was stripped to bare metal during the refurbishment and rust repair was carried out on the nose, rocker panels, strut towers, and roof pillars prior to a repaint in black. The floors and sills were also replaced at that time. Exterior features include a rear tow hook, chrome bumpers, bright side moldings, quadruple headlamps, and a driver’s side mirror.

Basketweave wheels feature BMW-branded center caps and are mounted with Firestone Roadhawk tires. Braking is through four-wheel discs, and the car rides on Bilstein shocks. The spare wheel has been replaced, and the removed wheels will accompany the vehicle.
Previously upholstered in blue fabric, the cabin houses seats trimmed in brown leather with color-coordinated door panels and a black dashboard accented with wood trim. Amenities include a wood shift knob, electric windows, and lap belts for front occupants.
A Momo leather-wrapped steering wheel with a BMW horn button sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 240-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 1k kilometers (~600 miles), though total mileage is unknown. The removed steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 3.0-liter inline-six features Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and was rebuilt during the refurbishment. A stainless steel exhaust system was also installed at that time. An oil change was performed in the summer of 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission that was overhauled and fitted with replacement synchros. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
