Aftermarket 17″ Rota wheels are mounted on five-lug hubs and wrapped with Nitto NT555 G2 tires sized 225/45. A matching spare is housed in the rear hatch area. The suspension has been modified with BC Racing adjustable coilovers with lowering springs, Silver Mine Motors adjustable billet aluminum front and rear control arms, a bump steer kit, quick steering knuckles, MSA sway bars, aluminum camber plates, and front and rear strut tower braces. Braking is provided by power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel discs over cross-drilled and slotted rotors with a Wilwood master cylinder. The rear wheel seals were replaced in 2020.
The cabin features bucket seats that were fitted with replacement foam and reupholstered in black vinyl around 2017. Replacement carpets and door panels were also installed, and sound deadening material has been applied to the floors. Additional equipment includes three-point seatbelts, a heater, a wood shift knob, floor mats, and an AM/FM radio.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel wears a Datsun-branded horn button and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. A clock and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level are housed atop the center stack. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 83k miles.
The inline-six was rebuilt by Wayne Calvert Precision Engines of Denton, Texas in 2003 and is equipped with a custom crankshaft and camshaft as well as a ported and polished cylinder head for a reported displacement of 2.6 liters. Additional equipment includes triple Weber 40 DCOE side-draft carburetors, a polished valve cover, an aluminum radiator, an adjustable fuel regulator, and custom tubular headers that feed a custom exhaust system. The fuel pump, level sending unit, and filter were replaced in 2020 by British Automotive Repair in Scottsdale, Arizona. The carburetors were also adjusted and the ignition system re-wired.
