The body was refinished at that time in Bahama Blue (354) and Grand Prix White (908) racing livery. Additional exterior features include an aluminum hood and doors, an adjustable rear wing, and Lexan side and rear windows.
BBS 16″ wheels are finished in gold with polished lips and are mounted with Hoosier racing slicks. Porsche 935-style suspension is installed and consists of RSR Bilstein coilovers, tubular front control arms, and Elephant Racing multi-link rear trailing arms. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs featuring Porsche 928-sourced “big red” calipers over drilled heat-treated Kolman rotors, braided stainless-steel brake lines, and carbon-fiber cooling ducts. Additional tires and BBS wheels are included in the sale.
The interior has been stripped and equipped with a welded roll cage and a Recaro racing seat mounted on adjustable rails with a KMR adjustable back brace. Additional equipment includes a halon fire suppression system, a cool-suit system, a Sparco six-point harness, window nets, a brake bias adjustment control, and a WEVO aluminum gear shift. Transponder wiring is installed.
The suede-wrapped MOMO quick-release steering wheel fronts a fabricated aluminum dashboard that houses a central tachometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. An odometer is not installed.
A 26-gallon Fuelsafe fuel cell with Nascar-style pick-ups is housed in the front trunk along with a Patterson oil tank and an Optima Gel battery that was recently replaced.
The replacement 3.8-liter M64/70 flat-six is an RSR Sprint-specification engine that was reportedly sourced as an unused factory spare and is said to have been built by Porsche Motorsport North America. The engine was overhauled in October 2021 by Fabson Engineering AG of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Features include the following:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a type 915 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Modifications include needle bearings and an external transmission cooler and pump. Recent service has included replacing the synchronizers and engagement teeth.
Included in the sale are service records, PCA, VSCDA, and SVRA racing log books, and the following spare parts:
