The Karmann-built body was finished from the factory in red and was repainted in its current orange during refurbishment. Exterior features include quad headlights, chrome bumpers and trim, and a pillarless roofline.
Silver-finished 14″ turbine-style wheels wear Alpina center caps and are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Energy XM2 tires showing 2016 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the car rides on front and rear independent suspension with Bilstein dampers.

A leather-wrapped Alpina/Momo steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation that was replaced during refurbishment and includes a 240-kph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2,200 kilometers (~1,400 miles), and total mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six features dual downdraft carburetors that were reportedly refurbished in March 2021. Additional service included an oil change, replacement of the distributor cap and rotor, and installation of a rebuilt alternator.
